Stephanie Tu is a Consultant with Talent Matters Inc.
She has worked within the area of Human Resources Consulting for more than 10 years. She has expertise in the areas of HR Outsourcing Matters, including performance management matters, delivering corporate training initiatives, organizational effectiveness, as well as legislative compliance matters. With significant business acumen coupled with a Human Resources focus, she possesses highly sought-after experience and is able to effectively address a myriad of workplace issues. Ms. Tu, a highly engaged professional, is recognized as having the ability to instantly connect with her clients, and projects a strong sense of commitment and sincerity through her ability to effectively listen to her clients and understand their specific needs.
As an internal and external consultant for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), Ms. Tu has worked with clients to uncover the causes of performance issues in their work-places and develop solutions to effectively solve these issues, including increasing productivity, reducing costs, improving communication, enhancing individual and team performances, and overall increasing employee engagement.
Ms. Tu thrives in an environment where she can skillfully advise clients in leadership training, performance management, recruitment strategies, and policies and
procedures development. Additionally, she has had extensive experience in developing a competency structure incorporating Lominger’s Leadership Architect® Suite to enhance recruiting, employee
selection, performance management, training and career development. She is focused on consistently offering cost-effective, value-added, innovative Human Resource frameworks and solutions. Ms. Tu has
developed and/or facilitated Talent Development training programs for her client groups such as Work Life Balance, Performance Management, Recruitment Techniques
for Hiring Managers and onboarding and orientation plans for salaried and hourly employees.
Prior to joining Talent Matters, Ms. Tu worked as a Human Resources Consultant in both a unionized operational environment and a corporate capacity at Canada Bread Company Limited (a subsidiary of Maple Leaf Foods).
She has certifications in Leadership/Talent Development and Talent Assessment tools, including Lominger Leadership Architect®, Recruiting Architect® and Development Planner Plus® Suites through Lominger Limited Inc., and is also a Certified Six Sigma Green Belt.
Ms. Tu graduated from Brock University with a BA in Labour Relations and Sociology, and completed post-graduate studies from Seneca College where she obtained a Human Resources Management Diploma. In keeping with her interest in adult learning, she is currently pursuing a degree in Adult Education. Ms. Tu is also a member of the Human Resources Professional Association (HRPA).
